Centrally located with amenities on your doorstep

Spent a long weekend in Cairns and was looking for a hotel that was near restaurants, beach and other amenities. which the Mantra certainly was. The Mantra Trilogy is a lovely complex at the South end of town and even on a busy Friday/Saturday evening was fairly quiet providing a good spot to relax after a busy day. Check-in was a little chaotic with the room not ready despite arriving near check-in time of 2:00pm. Staff sorted this reasonably quickly and we were soon settled into our room. The apartment was well furnished and the kitchen had all of the basic items you would need. It was obvious that the furnishings were getting towards needing to be replaced and showed quite a bit of wear and tear. Bedding wise it was set up as we needed and the bed was comfortable. All up and great spot and reasonable value for money.

Great location. In the middle of all the restaurant and central on the esplanade. Nice view of the esplanade and marina too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 2 bedroom apartment had everything we needed for a family. The laundry facilities in the room were very helpful.

Great location poor maintenance

Amazing location looking out to the ocean. Our family with teenage kids stayed in a three bedroom apartment. Very convenient for access to shops, restaurants and the lagoon. Friendly staff. The apartment itself was sparsely furnished, only one double lounge for up to 6 people. The apartment also had several maintenance issues, including a broken fridge door, broken dishwasher rack, broken bedroom door latch and overflowing toilet cistern. It’s all rather thoughtless, one of the bedside tables from the master bedroom was missing. We found it in the cupboard but discovered it does not fit next to the bed. Such a shame because it’s a spacious place with a good layout.

Excellent location and good Stay

I stayed for 3 days and I can say it was an amazing experience. Firstly, the location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy the beach, party night and experiment good restaurants. We had a considerable delay to check-In, but all the staffs were very friendly and kind to explain what was happening and help us with we need.

Highly recommended for the price

I have given maximum stars as my wife and I thought it totally met our expectations and more. The room was a good size with a huge bed, dehumidifier, air conditioner and fan also great smelling toiletries in the bathroom. The room did not get serviced for the 5 days which was fine as that kept the price of the room down. If I needed anything replenishing I just picked it up from the fantastic staff in reception. We would both definitely stay again when we next visit cairns
